Rhydian's new album which takes its name from the powerful lead track "O Fortuna" promises to be a stunning showcase for his unique and exquisite voice. The album which combines a mix of classical and contemporary with some well known favourites features the legendary Dame Kiri Te Kanawa and renowned opera singer Bryn Terfel.
An original song "I Won't Let You Walk This Road Alone" was written especially for Rhydian by well-known songwriter and producer Walter Afanasieff and was performed by Rhydian accompanying himself on keyboard during his sell out 2009 UK tour.
Produced and arranged by internationally acclaimed composer, conducter and producer Karl Jenkins, this album promises to bring Rhydian's own magnificent and inspirational interpretation to the tracks.

For the third year running, RR is fundraising for Crossroads. In the last three years, members have raised over £8,000 for this most worthwhile cause. This is a real "community" effort, with funds coming from group projects and individual efforts. Will "Fortuna" be kind again this year and help us raise even more? Of course it will!
Crossroads Caring for Carers is the largest provider of practical support to carers in the UK. It aims to give carers a much-needed break by providing trained, paid carer support workers to go into the home on a regular basis to replace the carer.Charity Registration No 282102
It is also a Charity which is supported by Rhydian and is very dear to him. To watch him talking about Crossroads, see the You Tube video at the foot of this page.
You can make a donation quickly and easily on line through our RR's dedicated Just Giving page, where there is the option to add Gift Aid if you are a UK taxpayer.

Regular members of our Forum will be familiar with the activities of Rhydian's most staunch and dedicated fan, Mrs. Dunwoody and her long suffering cat Delilah.
This lady (of uncertain years) never shirks her duties, supporting her hero through thick and thin. Sadly, both for Rhydian and members of the unsuspecting public, this is often more "thick" than "thin". Our 2009 fundraising campaign for Crossroads was....alas....no exception.
(With thanks to Mrs. D's alter ego, Xue Bai).
