For the third year running, RR is fundraising for Crossroads. In the last three years, members have raised over £8,000 for this most worthwhile cause. This is a real "community" effort, with funds coming from group projects and individual efforts. Will "Fortuna" be kind again this year and help us raise even more? Of course it will!
 Crossroads Caring for Carers is the largest provider of practical support to carers in the UK. It aims to give carers a much-needed break by providing trained, paid carer support workers to go into the home on a regular basis to replace the carer.Charity Registration No 282102
It is also a Charity which is supported by Rhydian and is very dear to him. To watch him talking about Crossroads, see the You Tube video at the foot of this page.
You can make a donation quickly and easily on line through our RR's dedicated Just Giving page, where there is the option to add Gift Aid if you are a UK taxpayer.

NEWS AND EVENTS in 2009
August - Catlover's swim
On 18th August, Catlover and her family swam 35 lengths for Crossroads. Well done - and thank you!
Donations and sponsorship money is still coming in, but looks like another great result.
June 20th and 21st
The weekend we "Walked for Crossroads"! Our wonderful members walked almost 200 miles in total and raised over £800. Well done everyone, well worth the blisters...
June 8th to 15th is National Carers' Week
Members are organising coffee mornings and also donating the price of their daily cup of coffee or tea to Crossroads.

September - Prize Draw
Our wonderfully talented artist - Arty, generously donated a fabulous oil painting of Rhydian's boyhood home in Wales. This is a one off replica of a picture given to Rhydian earlier this year. We are delighted to announce that all the numbers went in just three weeks and that members raised another £300. Thank you Arty!
June - The Tour Book!
Thanks to Rhydnut, we have the wonderful opportunity to share an e-book, compiled from reports, photos and contributions from our forums. With over 100 pages, this is a fantastic momento of Rhydian's sell out tour. Members have already shown their appreciation by donating over £300 to Crossroads. April - Michellesfriend's solo Walk
One of our members, Michellesfriend, completed an incredible 18 mile walk during April and raised almost £500 in sponsorship from members and friends. Well done MF!
February - a Souper Day!
To mark the start of Lent, members organised a soup kitchen day. We threw away the choccie biscuits and roast dinners and instead, "rhyd" ourselves of a few calories by having a soup only day. Donations reached several hundred pounds - well done everyone!
