Friday 3rd September
Hi everyone!
I have had a lovely holiday in monaco. The weather, food and company have all been terrific! I get back Saturday morning so only have a few more hours of utter bliss! I'm writing this from a beach in Corsica as I have flown here just for the day before returning back to the hotel du Paris tonight for a meal and non alcoholic cocktails! Trust me, no need for the alcoholic addition when you've tried them, they're absolutely divine without!
Love to all who are reading this.
May see you Saturday for a sing song.
Blessings

Saturday 14th August
Hey! Great to see various faces at the eisteddfod last week, familar and not so familar. If you were one of those newbies then can I just say it was lovely to meet you for the first time! You're very welcome and come again soon. I know many of you made long journeys to see the show and I really appreciated it.
Last Friday I went to Kidwely in West Wales to support the opening of a family friend's garage. I had to do a speech! It was lovely to meet Huw Edwards the news at 10 anchorman. What a gent! We spoke of doing a duet sometime on the the near future! ( Huw plays the piano wonderfully well)
Yesterday I did a magazine shoot for Heat. I think it's out the week after next.
Right I'm off to go chair shopping of all things!
Will check in with you soon.
Loads of love

Tuesday 27th July
Hey everyone! Hope you are all well. I managed to sing yesterday for the first time in nearly a month! I still have a bit of a cough but am feeling much better. I was well enough to have a lesson. It was total bliss to be able to vocalise again. So sorry I had to cancel the other day but, trust me, it was for the best.
Regarding We will Rock you, I am still unsure as to what dates exactly I will be performing in. They're touring for a year but I will be in it for a short stint! So sorry to be vague. The Welsh dates are probably the safest bet. If it works out I would like to do the Birmingham dates. I might be in Southampton but that is subject to change. All will be revealed soon!
I have to say that the audition was the most fun ever! There was a panel of about 20 people! I should have been scared but in fact I felt totally at ease. Ben Elton, Roger Taylor and Brian May were all really lovely to me.. How cool is that! Some days are just so special, and that was one of those days. I will remember it forever!
Love you all very much.

Sunday 30th May
Thank you everyone who suggested songs for me to sing at the Eisteddfod,
some great ideas. I have chosen one of the suggestions already and
might include a second.
This weather has been a blessing and has enabled me to play some golf and
catch up with old friends. Went to Tenby the other day and it was gorgeous
walking along the beach whilst paddling in the cold sea. If you have not
been I can highly recommend a visit.
Till next time

Thursday 20th May
Dear everyone,
Can I just begin by saying how I've loved reading all of your wonderfully
uplifting messages to me. Thank you one and all.
It was heartwarming to see so many familiar faces as I got out onto the
Classical Brits red carpet. ( That was possibly the shortest car journey
ever!! Could have just walked it I reckon!) Anyway it was fab to have you
all there cheering us on. I hope you weren't too frozen by the end.
I had a really lovely time backstage with all the nominees and performers.
My favourite was Howard Goodhall. What a lovely, intelligent and facinating
man he was. A real honour and highlight for me that was. The music for
'Vicar of Dibley' and 'Mr. Bean' wouldn't stop playing in my head throughout
the whole conversation!! He's so cool.
I was delighted to be able to perform again on the RAH stage. It nearly
didn't happen though! Whilst warming up in one of the corridors 5 mins prior
to going on, i found that I had been locked in this space ( which was
soundproof) where no one knew where I was. My hair stylist was with me and
my runner but their mobiles didn't have any signal and they were locked in
with me! Finally someone heard me belting a top c ' help' and we were
released!! Notice I'm puffing at the start of my song having just sprinted
to the stage.
Anyway, just to say thank you to everyone who voted. I had a chat to the
organiser in the party who told me that we came 2nd out of 10, so well done
everyone!! It was close by all accounts.
What's news- I've just returned from Elstree where I had a day with Jeff
Wayne and Liz McClarnon doing a photo shoot for TWOTW.
Next week I'm going on 'Shooting Stars' with Vic and Bob and Georgie Doors!!
It will be transmitted in August I think. Can't wait! It will be a laugh and
I have been a fan of that nonsense for ages!!
By the way, great to hear that some of you are coming to the Eisteddfod in
August. I thought maybe you could set up a thread of songs that you would
like me to sing on that night. I will pick a winner and then perform it live
on the night. Remember it has to be in Welsh and with a live band. You can
suggest an English song that we can translate if you like. You have a week
to send in your favourites!!
Love you all so much

Friday 16th April
Hiya! Hope you are all well. I have had another lovely week. I spent
most of last week in Cardiff with my wonderful Nain. I attended the
premier of Hairspray at the Millenium centre which was thoroughly
enjoyable. Met up with old friends and cast members at the aftershow
party and had a jolly good knees up!
On Wednesday I returned to London and had my bag stolen at Paddington
station! Horrible! I was on my mobile phone and was distracted for a
split second and it was gone! Silly me I guess.
I perked up however as that evening I attended the premier of the musical Hair!
It was such a high energy show with all the bells and whistles and even
nudity! (no pun intended!!) The party afterwards was also fabulous but
ended up going to bed at 4.30am! I had to sing for Cameron Mac the
next morning!! Luckily, he also went to the party so he was quite
forgiving!
Looking forward to seeing you at the Brits next month. Please keep
your votes coming in.
I'm not going to lie, I really really want to win this for us all!
Love ya.

Saturday 3rd April
Hiya! Hope you're all happy and well. I want to start by wishing you all a very happy Easter!
I went home to Wales last week for my Dads birthday and had such a lovely time with the family. It was so relaxing, just what I needed. We went shopping in Hay-on-Wye, went out for some gorgeous food and met up with some family friends. It really is the small things in life which makes me feel most at peace and content!
I also attended a friends wedding in Llandeilo whilst I was in Wales. To my amazement, Prince Harry was also there, one of the guards of honour no less!
We caught up after the service by the bar. (as you do...!)
I'm pleased to report that 'The war of the worlds' team are so lovely and it's a pleasure to be involved with such committed, enthusiastic people. We only begin rehearsals a week before we go on stage so plenty more things on the cards before then. Watch this space!
Thank you to everyone who has voted for me btw. Keep em coming!
Love you all very much. May see you at the RAH later today. If not, don't worry, just have a wonderful Easter period wherever you may be.
